Branding the Golden fiber

Ganges Jute Pvt. Ltd. Has been so consistent in the quality of its jute products that is has managed to create a ‘golden lining’ around its brand since 2003 under the able guidance of Abhishek Poddar.
When asked what encouraged Poddar to go for jute products, he said: “It was the wise choice out of many alternatives. We wanted to step into a product line which could offer a wide range of product and still be different from the conventional..!”

page28aThis wise decision has helped Ganges Jute to capture a huge chunk of the market in about 35 countries on the globe. Varieties in product line and stringent quality controls have always helped Ganges Jute to attain and maintain its position as a market leader in the product segment. The company has been able to utilize the help provide by EPCH to expand its market share. Poddar added: “In this competitive world everything is designed with due diligence, but few things are designed well. For me, designing is nothing but putting elements in a way as best can be accomplished to attain a particular purpose.”

Ganges Jute is very particular about the variety of designs to meet the expectation of its buyers. With their totally eco-friendly product line, Ganges Jute has its hands full and is not planning any new additions at the moment.
