1. We ship across the globe. We ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL, and Aramex . Swadesi does not ship to any PO Boxes or APO addresses.

2. Because each craftsman and artisan's process is unique, shipping times may vary.
3. Your purchases may reach you from various locations in more than one package. But no stress, you will be charged one delivery fee for the entire order, based on the shipping rate chart above..
4. Swadesi is obligated by law to collect sales tax on shipping and handling fees associated with taxable orders shipping to Massachusetts addresses.
5. As soon as your package ships, we will email you your package tracking information.
6. Any duties or taxes levied by the authorities at the destination port are to be paid by the customers. Our delivery partners are authorized to deposit duties on behalf of the customer and the customer can then directly clear these with the delivery partners on receiving the packet.
In the odd case that you do not love your Swadesi products, here is our policy on returns:
1. Products that are eligible for return, can be returned within 10 days (7 days for jewelry) of receiving the merchandise. Eligible products will be easily visible on our product screens under shipping information.
2. Not all products are eligible for returns. In order to maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen, as well as keep our prices fair, many items are "Final Sale." Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.
3(a) The Swadesi Care team must receive and approve your return request. Once your request is received and approved, you will be asked to ship across the products to our partner office in India.
3(b) Once returns are received by us and clear quality checks, you can choose to receive store credit or get a refund on your original credit or debit card used for payment. A re-stocking fee will be applicable at the following rates per product:
- For Products worth < $150, re-stocking fee = $9 per product
- For Products in $150 - $299 price range, re-stocking fee = $15 per product
- For Products worth > $300, re-stocking fee = $20 per product
4. In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, you should email us a photo of the damaged product with the Bar Code. You must email us about any damaged items in your shipment within 48 hours of receiving your order. In such cases, we offer a full refund.

6. All Custom Duties levied for return of the product will be borne by the customer.
